At Pendragon’s Smokehouse, our mission is simple:
To bring family, friends and colleagues together over delicious BBQ, smoked low & slow, and delivered hot, right to your door.
We’re not trying to reinvent BBQ, we're just approaching it in a slightly different way.
No shortcuts. No excess. No mass production. Just real food made right.
How We Work
We’re a pre-order BBQ service. That means we don’t guess what to cook, we cook what you actually ordered. It keeps waste low, quality high, and ensures your food is hot and fresh when it gets to you.
Each month or so we offer a small rotating menu: a couple of smoked meats, a handful of sides, and maybe a dessert or two. You pick your town and delivery day, choose your items, and we take it from there.
Orders close a couple of days before delivery so we can prep everything just right. On the day, we cook, pack, and deliver straight to your door, hot ready to eat.
Less Waste, More BBQ
Food delivery isn’t exactly environmentally friendly—but we’re trying to do our bit.
- We use a fully electric van for deliveries
- Your meals arrive in compostable or recyclable containers
- We avoid plastic containers where feasible. Our cutlery is bamboo, and if you ever see plastic, it’s only because there’s no safe alternative.
- Our pre-order model helps reduce food waste and overproduction
- We work with local suppliers whenever we can
It’s not perfect just yet, but every step we take brings us closer to a better way of doing things.
Who We Are
We’re a husband and wife team with a shared love of BBQ and a belief that great food brings people together.
Pendragon’s Smokehouse is a small, family-run operation focused on doing things the right way. No preservatives, no shortcuts—just great BBQ made fresh and brought straight to your door by the people who made it.
We’re hands-on in every part of the business, from the website and menu to firing up the smoker, packing orders, and making deliveries ourselves. You won’t find a corporate kitchen or a ghost brand here. Just us, doing what we love, with real attention to detail and a commitment to getting it right.
We’re proud to be part of our New Jersey community, and grateful to have the opportunity to feed it.
Meet 'Pen', our Dragon
You might’ve spotted a dragon egg in the lead-up to our launch...well, that egg has now hatched! Meet Pen.
He’s our official mascot and newly hatched delivery sidekick, here to keep things fun, friendly, and just a little bit smoky. You’ll see Pen on the van, across the site, on social media, and likely sniffing around the menu from time to time.
He’s part of the family now, and he’s just getting started!

We are like booking a table at your favorite restaurant, only dinner arrives at your door.
We primarily share updates by text so you receive timely, relevant messages about deliveries in your town. Join our SMS list and we will keep you in the loop for delivery days, secret menus and special drops.
What we text:

- Access to our secret same day ordering menu closes 10 am for select meals and sides
