We start with tender navy beans, add in smoked beef chuck, caramelized onions, and garlic, then slow-simmer everything in a rich sauce made from crushed tomatoes, brewed coffee, molasses, and mustard. A pinch of cumin and smoked paprika bring warmth, while a splash of vinegar brightens the finish.

Cooked until thick and bubbling, these beans are built to sit proudly alongside our ribs, chicken, or chili. They bring richness to any plate and pair beautifully with our other fall sides, especially the creamed greens or sweet potato mash.
